The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week.

On August 30th 2024, at approximately 4:14 A.M. a subject was observed walking by the front of the Decatur Civic Center.  This individual was observed placing a bronze colored plastered head of Abraham Lincoln on the ground in front of the entrance.  It is unknown at this time where the damaged statue came from.

The suspect involved in this incident is a w/m with a beard, average height, thin build, wearing no shirt and dark pants.
