The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week.
On 07/24/17, at 7:20am it was reported that a theft and criminal damage to property occurred, on the parking lot of 150 W. Pershing Rd. (Miles Chevrolet). This theft and criminal damage occurred sometime between the hours of 3:00pm, on 07/23/17 and 7:00am on 07/24/17. An unknown suspect or suspects removed several rims and tires from new vehicles on the lot. These type of crimes have also occurred on other dealership lots in Effingham and Macon County.
The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving these crimes. If you have any information regarding these crimes, please call Crime Stoppers at 423-TIPS. You do not have to give your name.
