The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week. This week’s crime of the week is in reference to approximately 20 car windows shot out in the Ravina Park and Home Park Neighborhoods, causing a large dollar amount of damage.
On 2/24/12, Patrol Officers fielded 20 different complaints from citizens in these neighborhoods in reference to their car windows being shot out by what appears to be a BB Gun. There are no suspects at this time. A suspect vehicle may be a silver colored smaller hatchback or station wagon with a loud muffler.
The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving these crimes. If you have any information about these crimes, please call crime stoppers at 423-TIPS. You do not have to give your name. Crime stoppers will pay $500 dollars for information that leads to an arrest on the crime of the week. Crime stoppers will also pay cash for information that leads to an arrest of any person responsible for a felony crime in Macon County.
