The Decatur Police Department and Macon County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week.
Within the past week there have been multiple burglaries to businesses in Decatur and Forsyth. We believe the cases are related due to the suspect’s actions in the incidents. The suspect could also be responsible for burglaries in the Clinton area.
The suspect throws a large rock or brick through a door or window to gain access to the businesses. Once inside the business the suspect gathers jewelry and other valuable items before fleeing the area on foot.
One suspect is described as a white male approximately 5’10 with an average build. The Decatur Police Department and Macon County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in solving these crimes.

Crime Stoppers will pay $500 or more for information that leads to an arrest on the crime of the week. Crime Stoppers will also pay cash for information that leads to a felony arrest in Macon County.
